RECOVERY AT HOME

Thursday~ I had a great time after I decided to wake up! Lots of people came by to see me, bring me gifts, or call. I know that I am loved!

SURGERY DAY

My surgery was scheduled for 11:00am and I was not even called upstairs until 4:15. The surgery started at 4:30 and I was finished at 5:15. Long Day! My mama said praise God for grandparents, best friends, and preachers because she would have been dead without all their help yesterday. Nana, Papa, Papa Rudy, Bro. Joe, Bro. Sam, Kelly, Amy, Mom, and Dad were at the hospital. Everyone was trying to occupy my time because they knew at any minute I was going to turn into a terror(that is because I could not eat or drink anything). Everybody had their turn pushing me up and down the hall in my stroller whether awake or asleep, playing with toys with me, hiding in the closet with me (that would only be papa), singing and tons of other activities. My mama said she could not have asked for me to be any better. I never complained, screamed, or cried~before the surgery! She was so proud of me!








We know there were so many friends and family that wanted to be at the hospital and were unable. We thank you so much for all your prayers, thoughts, and phone calls.

I was not happy at all after this surgery. All I wanted to do was curl up on my mama. My mama said my face will actually break your heart.

After leaving the hospital my mama gave my some tylenol and I would sleep one minute and get upset the next. The same was true for during the night. I have drank a little this morning and I am eating a cookie as my mama types this for me. GO BRODIE!

Our Trip to Jackson

We ate at Bonsai (Japenese Steak House) with Kelly, Amy, and Jeff. We had the best time and I really got my belly full. Here are some pics of us really having a great time! Hope you enjoyed your birthday mom because I sure did!

WE ARE HOME

We are finally home. My surgery was scheduled for 11:00am and I was not called back until 4:15. Yes you heard right 4:15pm. So they started me at 4:30 and the doctor was out to see my family at 5:15. I really did not like having this done. I have drank about 5 ounces of apple juice and held it down fine. I have opened my eyes a couple of times but I really do not care to even see or talk to anyone. We will post pictures tomorrow and go into more detail but for now just know that I am home and resting. See ya!

PRAYER

My eye surgery is tomorrow morning at 11:00a.m. I am asking for your prayers for me, the doctors, and my family. I just ask that you will lift the Lord up and glorify Him for healing me in advance. Thank you so much to all of you who have called and are concerned for me and my family. We will update all of you as soon as we know something!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM

MOM

My mom has had a migraine for 5 days now. Finally yesterday she got some medicine to make her head feel better! My daddy watched me last night while my mama went to sleep. When we woke her up this morning she felt better. We told her that we loved her and sang to her.

Me and Mama were playing in the living room when we saw some turkeys. We knew daddy would be upset that he missed them so we took a picture.

Mrs. Michelle and Rustin came by to see us today. They came to wish my mom a Happy Birthday, bring me a shirt to wear for surgery, and to pray over me. The Freeman's truly are a great family sent from God to help be a friend to our family. The whole shirt thing~my mom reads this morning that I have to have a button up shirt for my surgery and guess what I do not have one. So she was calling all over Laurel trying to find something and Mrs. Michelle came to the rescue. She found me a shirt. Thanks Rustin for coming to pray for me.

We are going to Jackson this afternoon so we will not have to drive in the morning. We are going to eat at STIX for my mom's birthday with her friends. I know that we are going to have a great time and we will definitely takes lots of pics.

MeMe is in the hospital recovering from back surgery so I sent her a card via email.

Nana and Papa do not answer their phone so we left a message.

I stayed with Granna, Papa, and Anna last night. We had a real good time. We all went to church together today and ate at Granna's.




After we got our belly full me and my daddy played with my new sword and took a nap!


When I woke up I was ready to explore and get in to things. After playing with monkey a little while then I wanted to talk to Nana and Papa to tell them Happy Grandparents Day!

DISNEY ON ICE

Me, Bailey, Aunt Dawn, and Mama went to Disney on Ice today to see the Incredibles. After the show we went to eat at Olive Garden. It was so good. We had the best time today and I can't wait til the next show. Be sure to watch the video of our fun filled day!

WHAT'S FOR DINNER?

FINALLY FRIDAY

All I can say today is IT IS FINALLY FRIDAY! I went to school this morning and had a good time with my friends. This afternoon I played with my mom, took a nap and then daddy took me outside with him. He shot his bow and I got to watch and help get the arrows after he shot them. I had the best time!

WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY

My Nana was off today so we went to her house for a day out. She fixed me a BIG lunch and I ate and ate and ate (yams, corn, chicken, brocolli and rice, and cornbread). Nana and Mama ate salads. She also fixed me some sugar cookies. Which I am still enjoying. Thanks Nana.

Afterwards me and mom went over to GrandMac and MeMe's. I got to play the piano. . The video is sideways but we can't do anything about it. So just watch and enjoy anyway!

THERAPY TUESDAY

Ms. Kathy and Mrs. Shauna came out to visit with me on Tuesday. They said I worked really good. I talked and I climbed stairs and I even went down the stairs one time. They even let me show them my monkey as if they had never seen it before.

Happy Labor Day 2006

I had such a great Labor Day and I hope you did as well. Papa and Nana made a tricycle just for me. I love it! Now I can ride all day and make my feet move. I swam with Josie, Wyatt, Graham, Kate, Kristen, Mama, and Polly. You know I love swimming. I also ate BUNCHES and BUNCHES! My favorite thing was watermelon. Today was fun because I got to share it with family and friends. I had so much to share with you today so I thought we would just put it on a video.

SUNDAY

Papa and Granna took me in the truck to find deer. We went to the barn, rode on the golf cart, ate cake, and took a nap! This afternoon we were all up at Aunt Sherry's and I played with Kelby and Kobe. We had a good time. I chased them everywhere and I think I scared Kobe! They had out the whoopie cushion and we had the best time playing with that thing. My mama laughed until she cried because she thought it was just like THE KLUMPS!!! My CraZy mama forgot the camera again so we do not have any pictures but we had a good time.

SATURDAY FUN

MeMe came over to play with me first thing on Saturday morning. We read all about the Frogs. I had a good time and can't wait to play with MeMe again!


After lunch Bailey came to pick me up for us to go to a Baby Shower for our new cousin.He got lots of new things like clothes, diapers, towels, blankets, and even a horse. I really liked the horse!
