HIPPOTHERAPY

I LOVE HORSES!!! The helmet not so much but love the horses! Mrs. Rachelle has been doing some vaulting with me. I stand on the horse and tall kneel on the horse. My new horses name is Misty!

BALLGAMES

That time a year again~ BALLGAMES! Graham had a soccer game and Bailey went with me and Mom! Well we were geared up ready to see a game and the other team did not show up! BOO HOO! We had fun eating popcorn anyway!

PLAYGROUND

Mrs. Judy sure knows how to treat a boy! Take him to the PLAYGROUND!!!

I love to be outside and the new playground at school is so cool!

UNITED WAY KICKOFF

United Way kicked off their campaign in September and Mrs. Sarah was asked to speak on behalf of the Children's Center! I went with her and of course showed out. I actually did so good on my walker today. I walked from the parking lot inside Target, to the pharmacy, took a rest and then walked all during the meeting and walked all the way to the car! There was a nice lady that worked in Target and heard from a special someone that I liked popcorn so guess what? I got some popcorn. I took it to school with me to share with all my friends.

By the way thanks to all of you who are contributors of the United Way! In case you did not know where your money was going NOW YOU KNOW to help boys and girls like me to learn how to do things just like everyone else! Thanks to all of you!!!

This is my Classroom! I really love it!!!Sometimes I have to get to school before my friends to see Mrs. Judy and I like to go in and try to get in my chair but Mrs. Judy will not stand for it!

UPDATING

I know I have not been updating as much but there is a great reason WHY!!! All of our pictures now have to be converted to a smaller size with a different program, resaved, and then added! Also with adding pictures I can only add one at a time so this causes for needing lots of time! Which I do not have but I love being able to but new things on the blog so just bare with us!

Just a typical CraZy morning in the life of a Moss!

Of course my mom is trying to get me to walk by playing on the sit and spin!!!

Schedules

Day 3 of School~ Ready to get to Class!!!

Of course I think everyone is suffering from trying to get the fall schedules down and I think we have finally got it worked out but I am sure there will be changes but maybe we will be settled on this schedule for awhile anyway. So far we have it scheduled so that we are off on Fridays. we will use this day for doctor appointments and extra things that we have to fit into to our therapy schedule! Brodie is enjoying school and I think he is having no problem adjusting except for the getting our nap time down so he will be able to sleep at night so he will be ready for the next day but besides that he is doing great!!!

HORSE

I went to ride the horse again this week! It was so much fun but it was so hot.

I go at 2:00 in the afternoon!!!

I got in my classroom and I was ready to get in my chair!

We are waiting on all my friends to get to school so we can get started. Ms. Heather is blowing bubbles are we are going to try to PoP them!!!

We learned about what all happens at school today. We talked about who is a girl and who is a boy. We learned where everything is located in the classroom: books, table, chair, clock,etc.... We colored and we even went on a Wagon Ride>>

After our wagon ride we had a snack and then had music time ( my fav)!

I had a blast! School is so much fun to me. I love to be in the classroom singing and playing!

Jump Start Day

We had a Jump Start Day at School!

I went to see my classroom, my new friends, and for my parents to fill out all that paperwork. It was fun and after we did that I went to buy me a new back pack. It is cool. I got a blue backpack with a tractor and my name on it. We also went to the mall and I got to ride the train. It was alot of fun!!! I am ready for school to start.

For Dad's Birthday we got him a Wii Machine. We have had the most fun with this toy!!! Anyway The Freeman's came over to play with us and Look who ended up having a blast: THE DAD's! Mr. Russ and Chris playing the boxing game and I bet they are going to be really sore tomorrow.

NEW PUPPY

Papa Rudy gave me a new puppy! For those of you who don't know~we have had 5 different puppies since Brodie has been home and they all go in a couple of weeks! So you can imagine my excitement but I really like her. Her name is LuLu. Brodie calls her WuWu!!! She is a jack russell. Brodie likes her sometimes but at other times he wants her no where around. They bark at each other and LuLu bites Brodie and Brodie bites LuLu sooooo you can imagine the fun we are having around the house.

WoW!!!

AMAZING!!! Never in a million years before SDR!! WoW!!! We are so excited for Brodie and everything he is accomplishing since his surgery! For those of you who do not know Brodie could not even lean to touch his toes much less pull them to him because of all the tightness so LOOK AT GOD!!!! Thanks so much to Dr. Park and especially to our therapists (Mrs. TJ and Mrs. Lindsey) that have been seeing Brodie everyday since the week we came home and putting up with my abuse.(Brodie is in a hitting, pinching, biting stage!) Also Wesley Medical who allows outpatient rehab to continue with such an awesome therapy staff.

Weston's Birthday

Weston's Swimming Party! I was so tired and my mom was not going to let me swim but Mrs. Kay saved the day and took me swimming! Thanks Mrs. Kay!

WILD CHILD

Brodie has really turned into a WILD child that is so full of life. We are so excited, so blessed but so tired!!!!!!!!!!!

Our new tricks are turning the high chair over and pushing it around everywhere, climbing in the chair at the table to sit in it like a big kid thinking he is 21, getting on his sit and spin and turning around and around and around, climbing up to Elmo tool table and playing, climbing in the recliners and standing up rocking (scaring my parents to death), and slamming doors. Oh and don't let me forget about the temper tantrums we have been throwing when we do not get what we want, whining (which my mom absolutely hates), going to time out, biting, pinching, pulling hair, and hitting. WoW!!!!! Can't wait for school to start!

LOOK AT MY NEW COUSIN

This is my Aunt Ashley(Sissy) and Uncle Zach with my new cousin Emalee! Oh Yeah you can't see her but she is there kicking around and sucking her thumb. She is going to come out and see me in October!!! (But remember Emalee not a minute toooooo soon!)

July 4th

4th of July was a blast!

We were at MeMe's and had lots of BBQ,

fireworks, fishing, and swimming.

July has been a crazy, fun, but busy month. I have several posts with pictures from the month and hope you enjoy them. We have still been going to therapy everyday. We are going to Physical Therapy at Wesley with Mrs. TJ and Mrs. Lindsey, Occupational Therapy with Mrs. Robin, Aquatics at Wesley, Horseback with Mrs. Rochelle and Mrs. Annie, I am going to be starting back school next month so actually we have had a summer filled with therapy!!!!!!!

CHECKUP

We just got back from our 4month checkup in St. Louis. Dr. Park says everything looks great!
Brodie just needs to practice WALKING! WALKING!! WALKING!!!!
